We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Vice President of Operations to lead and manage the operations of about 80 dental practices across Minnesota and Wisconsin. You will report to and work closely with our President of Clinical Operations to meet the operation needs of these markets. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in both general dentistry and specialty practices within a DSO environment. Responsibilities

  • Proactively engages with providers to build strong relationships while supporting them and ensuring their success.
  • Personally maintains highly productive relationships with the offices.
  • Leverages market advertising, marketing and sales to best advantage within district.
  • Shares best practices with offices in his/her area and with peers and supervisor.
  • Ensures office compliance with established company policies, procedures, and standards and government regulations.
  • Communicates with Office and Dental leadership on a regular basis to ensure they have the information and support they need to do their jobs.
  • Proactively manages performance including but not limited to coaching, performance appraisal, corrective action when appropriate, and rewards. Ensures a succession plan exists for their area.
  • Directly supervises DMOs within the area with the ability to directly manage office managers if needed at times.
  • Develops Director of Market Operations capable of building teams that provide best in class patient care.
  • Analyzes financial trend data and takes action on areas of opportunity. Balances operations costs accordingly.
  • Ensures flawless execution of operational standards and ensures services are in compliance with professional standards, state and federal regulatory requirements.
  • Develops and implements plans to ensure revenue and budget objectives are met, expanded on, and actively follows through on them.
  • Achieves revenue targets, annual budgets and strategic business goals for multiple locations across a broad geographical area.

Qualifications

  • 7+ years’ experience in dental management in an executive operations role managing a budget and P&L
  • 5+ years’ experience successfully managing multiple locations/large markets
  • Proven ability to get results; a self-starter that sets aggressive goals and meets them
  • Successful track record of identifying, selecting, developing and retaining talent
  • Proven ability to diagnose, analyze, and solve business problems
  • Demonstrated ability to manage change
  • Proven financial acumen
  • Demonstrated commitment to providing superior customer service
  • Available to commute and travel regularly within your assigned markets
  • Must reside in Minnesota or Wisconsin

Compensation

$175,000 plus depending on experience
