Overview

As a Patient Care Coordinator, you'll have a key role in creating positive patient experiences using our innovative G3 approach (Greeting, Guiding, Gratitude). You'll help patients feel welcome and supported whether they are coming in for treatment or calling to schedule an appointment. You will also assist them with financial arrangements for treatment.

Schedule (days/hours)

M-TH 7:30-5:00 F 8-2

Responsibilities

  • Greet patients warmly as they arrive and check them in for their appointments
  • Schedule appointments for new and existing patients, ensuring efficient use of time and resources
  • Answer phone calls and emails, addressing patient inquiries and scheduling requests
  • Verify patient insurance coverage and communicate benefits and payment options
  • Collect patient information and update records accurately in our database
  • Assist with billing and insurance claims as needed
  • Educate patients on proper dental hygiene and care instructions
  • Follow up with patients after appointments to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns
  • Collaborate with the dental team to coordinate patient care and treatment plans

Qualifications

  • At least one year related experience
  • Knowledge of dental terminology
  •  Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on delivering exceptional customer service

Preferred Qualifications

  •  Previous experience in a dental or medical office setting

Compensation Range: $16 - $18/HR
